The station nearest the workshop (10 minute walk) and the Ibis hotel is "Portsmouth and Southsea".
Suggested places to stay:
- There is a nearby moderately priced Ibis hotel (this has already been booked for speakers).
- Some others to consider.
Miscellaneous:
- Links to the University webpage can be found here, the Department of Mathematics here, and a map of the campus and environs can be found here. The meeting will most likely take place in the Lion Gate building at the top of the University Quarter map.
- The city of Portsmouth has a rich history steeped in strong naval tradition. Some "things to do" in Portsmouth can be found here.
- The workshop has been timed to be immediately before the Equadiff 2011 meeting, also being held in the UK, for the convenience of those wishing to attend both. The Equadiff website is here.
